Solar DevelopmentA SOL Depot division

From land to solar project.

We assess land and solar projects from 1 to 50 MW. We connect land, solar resource, grid access and feasibility to define a development path.

Our starting point: HUB Las Cabezas

Arraiga applies the project structuring work of HUB Las Cabezas to new solar opportunities. Every site and project needs its own assessment: location, land rights and grid access shape the next step.

Two ways to begin.

01 / I have land

I have land

You do not need solar engineering expertise. We start by locating the land and understanding its area, current use, access and nearby electrical infrastructure.

  • Location or a Google Maps link.
  • Total and available area in hectares.
  • General ownership and land-use situation.
  • Potential lease, sale or partnership interest, subject to assessment.

02 / I have a project

I have a project

We review opportunities at different stages and explore joint development options. Tell us what is already in place and what the project needs to move forward.

  • Country, location, MWp and MWac capacity if known.
  • Current stage and relationship with the land.
  • Status of grid connection, studies and permits.
  • Proposed collaboration and next milestone.

From first contact to an informed decision.

01

Location and scope

We identify the site, opportunity, intended scale and available information.

02

Preliminary assessment

We review land, solar resource, access, grid connection and constraints to determine what to study.

03

Project structuring

We define required studies, technical and commercial options, risks and participation arrangements.

04

Development path

We agree on next milestones, responsibilities and documentation. Commitments are formalized according to the assessment results.

What makes an opportunity viable.

Land

Location, usable area, terrain, ownership and land-use conditions.

Resource and design

Solar resource, estimated production, configuration and storage where appropriate.

Grid connection

Connection point, distance, capacity and the status of studies and applications.

Permits and territory

Environmental conditions, land use, community and applicable constraints.

Commercial model

Demand, energy sales, self-consumption or other project-specific options.

Financial feasibility

Investment, costs, revenue, schedule and risks supported by documented assumptions.

Tell us where to start.

Share general information. We will prepare a summary for you to review and continue by email with our team.

General information is enough for this first inquiry. Land and project documentation will be coordinated later through an agreed channel.

By sending the email, you authorize 8SOL S.A.S. to use this information to respond to and assess your opportunity, under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012. Privacy notice.

Before you begin.

Do I need a solar study?

You do not need a prior study to introduce land. Location and area let us start the conversation and identify missing information.

Can I propose a lease, sale or partnership?

Yes. These options are assessed according to the site, the project and the agreements between the parties.

Does introducing an opportunity create a commitment?

An initial inquiry does not create an obligation to contract, lease, sell or invest. Feasibility and scope are assessed before formal agreements.

What about financing and construction?

These are assessed within the project development path where appropriate. They are not guaranteed before feasibility and scope are established.

Let’s discuss your next solar opportunity.
